Planning/sketchesIn progress photosFinal photoSelf evaluation1. I arranged my composition by the shape of the mountain and how each texture would complement each other. In my opinion i think this was a successful composition.
2. Texturing and pattering is important because the shades need to go well together or else it wont look good together. Especially since i was doing layer on layer since its mountains i had to try and make things look even and good. 3. Value is so important in this project so everything comes together as one piece. Like i said above, everything needs to come together or it won't look right. 4. In my opinion i think the craftsmanship was OK. I tried my best to get it to look as best as possible without it looking like a complete mess of textures 5. My knowledge of dealing with certain patterns really helped this piece come together because for example if you put two dark patterns together and only one white it won't look even (if that makes sense) 6. You need to make sure you understand the concept taught in class so your piece doesnt look out of place or look messed up. 7. As a growing artist this better helped me understand how different patterns can change your piece as a whole in many ways. Also you need to really think before you draw your next patten and make sure you have many different ideas before choosing the one you really want. 8. If i could recreate my piece i would probably change the sky because it looks a little blank to me but i didn't know what exactly to draw next to the lines in the sky.

In this excercise we had to make up our own patterns and draw them in each square. We had to draw dark and light patterns
In this project we had to stipple the same thing on the left. On the right it was all blank and you had to copy the shadows and the lighting
This project we had to make a pattern thats similar all around We had to copy down what we saw We had to finish the drawing piece. The other two on the right i messed up
In this project we had to do textures. Cross hatching- is when you draw lines on top of lines. Invented- You had to draw doodles over and over on top of each other. like Squiggles. Stippling- you had to carefully plot dots all over your paper until it got darker or lighter shades.
Hatching- You had to draw line on top of line until it also got darker or lighter The first picture was a tree. This drawing was a picture i took a year ago of a huge tree that looked like a mushroom. I tried to get it as detailed as possible. The second picture was of an animal. I picked a bird flying through nature. I put some trees in the background and bushes. I also tried detailing the birds wings. This drawing was of a street. I really dont like drawing perspective photos because they can be quite hard. The last drawing was of someones hand. i drew mine
